Everything is a subcommand of /polaroidchat. Most also have a short root alias, so
/polaroidchat nick and /nick are the same thing.
Aliases live in commands.yml. Removing one leaves the subcommand reachable through
/polaroidchat; adding one needs a server restart.
| Command | Alias | What it does | Permission |
|---|---|---|---|
/polaroidchat menu | /chat | Opens the menu | polaroidchat.menu |
/polaroidchat dialog | — | The same menu as a dialog window | polaroidchat.menu |
/polaroidchat nick <name> | /nick, /name | Changes your nick | polaroidchat.nick.set |
/polaroidchat resetnick | — | Back to your own name | polaroidchat.nick.reset |
Colours are chosen from the menu rather than typed. See Colours & nicks.
| Command | Alias | What it does | Permission |
|---|---|---|---|
/polaroidchat msg <player> <message> | /msg | Sends a private message | polaroidchat.msg |
/polaroidchat reply <message> | /reply, /r | Answers the last one | polaroidchat.msg |
| Command | Alias | What it does | Permission |
|---|---|---|---|
/polaroidchat block <player> | /block | Stops seeing them | polaroidchat.block |
/polaroidchat unblock <player> | /unblock | Lets them through again | polaroidchat.block |
/polaroidchat unblockall | /unblockall | Clears the whole list | polaroidchat.block |
/polaroidchat blocklist | /blocklist | Opens the list as a menu | polaroidchat.block |
/polaroidchat channel <id> — or /channel, or /ch — moves you. A channel with an alias
also answers to it directly, so /global works.
Player-made channels take a second word:
| Being in one | create · join · leave · list · info |
| Who is in it | invite · accept · deny · request · kick |
| Running it | promote · demote · transfer · rename · password · public · private · close |
Full detail in Channels.
/polaroidchat toggle <what> <channel|all> <true|false>
| What | Turns off |
|---|---|
mentions | Being pinged by name |
msg | Private messages |
emojis | Your own shortcuts becoming emoji |
announcements | Timed server messages |
chat | Chat entirely |
channel_global, channel_world, channel_local | Reading that channel from outside it |
all sets the whole thing; a channel name — chat, actionbar, title, bossbar, sound or
toast — sets just that one way of being notified. Which of them a type offers depends on the
type: one that offers none takes only all.
Each needs polaroidchat.toggle.<what>, and setting it for someone else needs
polaroidchat.toggle.<what>.others.
| Command | Alias | What it does | Permission |
|---|---|---|---|
/polaroidchat emojis | /emojis | Lists the emoji you may use | polaroidchat.emoji.list |
/polaroidchat sprites | /sprites | Lists the game textures you may write | polaroidchat.sprites |
/polaroidchat keywords | /keywords | Lists the keywords you may type | polaroidchat.keywords |
Each lists only what the player asking is actually allowed to use.
| Command | Alias | What it does | Permission |
|---|---|---|---|
/polaroidchat realname <nick> | — | Who is behind a nick | polaroidchat.realname |
/polaroidchat changenick <player> <name> | — | Sets someone else's nick | polaroidchat.nick.set.others |
/polaroidchat msgspy | /msgspy | Reads private messages | polaroidchat.msgspy |
/polaroidchat clearchat | /clearchat | Pushes chat out of sight | polaroidchat.clearchat |
/polaroidchat reload | — | Rereads the config files | polaroidchat.admin.reload |
See Staff tools for what the spy actually shows and how clearing works.
